StudyScriptor is a KSSR project.

01

What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of StudyScriptor, a browser-based learning tool operated by K.Jung School of Standardised Review (KSSR). By using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you are using StudyScriptor for a school, organisation, or client, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that use.

02

Use the source responsibly

You may submit only material you own, are licensed or permitted to use, or may lawfully use. That includes transcripts, captions, recordings, images, source titles, URLs, and anything you later publish. A video being publicly accessible does not automatically mean its captions or content may be republished. You are responsible for obtaining any required permission, attribution, consent, and safeguarding clearance.

03

Protect learners and other people

Do not upload confidential student records, private identifying information, sensitive health or assessment data, or recordings made without appropriate permission. The service is designed to help adults prepare learning materials; it is not a student-record system, a high-stakes assessment system, or a substitute for a teacher’s judgment.

04

AI-assisted output needs review

StudyScriptor can smooth a transcript and draft learning activities, but generated material can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, culturally awkward, or unsuitable for a particular learner. You are responsible for reviewing the source, verifying facts and answer keys, adapting the material, and deciding what enters a classroom or public site. See the founder’s AI use statement for the human position behind the product.

05

Saving and publishing

A private saved lesson is intended for the account that saved it. When you choose “Publish student page”, you direct us to make the answer-free student version publicly accessible. Public pages may be shared, embedded, searched, copied, or indexed by third parties. Teacher answers are not intended for public student pages, but you remain responsible for checking what you choose to publish.

06

Fair use of the service

Do not use StudyScriptor to break the law; infringe rights; harass or impersonate people; distribute malware; bypass usage limits, access controls, or payment systems; probe the service; or create material designed to harm people. We may limit, suspend, or remove access where necessary to protect people, comply with law, prevent abuse, or keep the service reliable.

07

Your material, our service

As between you and StudyScriptor, we do not claim ownership of the original material you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to process it, display it to you, save it when you choose, and publish it when you direct us to do so. The StudyScriptor software, brand, templates, and site design remain ours or our licensors’ property. Generated material may still include or depend on third-party source material, so you remain responsible for its lawful use.

08

Beta, availability, and changes

StudyScriptor is currently in beta. Features, creation allowances, export options, and availability may change while we improve it. We do not promise uninterrupted service, preservation of every unsaved draft, or that every source, device, or third-party integration will work perfectly. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate substantial changes that materially affect paid access when paid billing begins.

09

Plans and payments

Free beta access does not create a payment obligation. When paid plans are enabled, the checkout page will show the price, billing interval, applicable taxes, and cancellation information before payment. Purchases completed through Lemon Squeezy checkout will be handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Its checkout terms and payment processes also apply to those transactions. Our proposed refund approach is available on the Refund Policy page.

10

Limits of responsibility

To the extent allowed by applicable law, StudyScriptor is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that generated output is correct, complete, original, lawful for your use, or suitable for a particular educational, professional, medical, legal, financial, or safeguarding purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11

Questions and changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. If you continue using StudyScriptor after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply to that future use, subject to any mandatory law. For questions, contact studyscriptor@kssr.press.
